APPLICATION PROCESS
If you've always wanted to be a part of a magic society, where you can make new friends and learn great new magic then this is the section that will give you the information you need.

APPLICATION
The first step is to apply. This is a simple process of completing an application form. By completing the form we will get a better understanding of who you are, why you want to join, and what your magical interests are. Anyone from the age of 16 can apply.

THE ACADEMY
Once we have received your application, a member of our academy team will be in contact to carry out an informal conversation with yourself.
If you are just starting out then our academy team will help you step by step in developing your skills and build a routine for when you are ready to apply to become a full member. All of our professional performers including John Archer and Pete Firman came through the Academy.
YOUR AUDITION
Once you have been put through the paces of the academy you will be put forward for your audition. This starts with a quick interview with the current committee, including the current president. This is just so that they can meet you personally and make sure you are ready for the audition. The audition will take place before one of our meetings and will be performed in front of the current members. Your audition will last approximately 10 minutes. Once your performance is complete you will be free to leave and a member of our committee will be in contact with you to let you know whether you have been successful or not.
WELCOME TO THE MIDDLESBROUGH CIRCLE OF MAGICIANS!
If you have been successful you will have been contacted by a member of our committee and will become a probationary member of the Middlesbrough Circle of Magicians. Everyone who joins the MCM will enter as a probationary member for a minimum of 1 year before becoming a full member. At this point you will be presented with your MCM badge.
